There’s plenty of choice for a day of family fun in and around Mildura. Try mini-golf and dodgem cars (walking distance from Ornamental Lakes), slip down a water slide (summer months, stroll up from Ornamental Lakes), ride a steam train at Red Cliffs (maybe on your way home) or a pedal boat which can be hired from our moorings. Ride your skateboards at the Skate Park at Ornamental Lakes or stroll up to Orange World to take a “train” tour of a working citrus property (they have the best orange juice!). There are free playgrounds at Jaycee Park (moor at the Tennis Courts) and Gol Gol (houseboat moorings available).

With its mild climate and excellent facilities, Mildura is a popular sporting destination. Have a hit of tennis, go racing, play a round of golf or bowls, or join a team sport. Ask us about local facilities, some are on the river bank!

Mildura is a regional arts hub with a vibrant local community of writers, artists and performers. Visit galleries to see the work of local artists as well as travelling exhibitions, see sculptures dotted around the town and call into the Mildura Arts Centre to see a performance, exhibition or the Rio Vista historic house.

Mildura has a reputation for stylish shopping in a picturesque setting. Choose from more than 350 traders, including 300 speciality stores and the regular Sunday market.
