You only need a full driver’s licence. No boat licence required.
Not confident driving? We can move the houseboat for you on request.
Most boats are set up with safety rails and gates, life jackets are available, and selected boats are pet friendly.
Bringing a ski boat, jet ski or fishing boat? Easy. We’ll show you how to tie it up and what works best with your houseboat.
We also have secure parking for cars, trailers and caravans, monitored by CCTV. Powered caravan sites are available on request.

All boats have fresh water and fully equipped kitchens. Most of the other extras depend on the boat.

Minimum hire is 3 nights.

An $800 deposit secures your booking.
The remaining balance is due two months before check-in. If you book within two months of arrival, the full amount is due when you book.

Our itineraries give you a simple starting point, with travel times, places to stop and things to do along the river.
Weekend arrivals outside school holiday periods may need to be arranged with us directly.
And yes, read the Terms & Conditions before booking. Not the exciting part, but still worth doing.
After booking, you’ll receive confirmation from our team.
Around 21 days before your hire, we’ll send your information pack with everything you need to know before arrival.
If you’ve added a tinnie, stand-up paddleboard or special bedding setup, we’ll confirm that too.
Step 5: Turn up. We’ll show you the rest.
Check-in starts from 3:00pm.
If your boat is ready earlier, we’ll give you a call.
Need groceries? Midway IGA can deliver directly to the boat, and if they arrive before you do, we can put them onboard for you.
When you arrive, we’ll:
Allow around 30 to 60 minutes.
Then you’re off.
While you’re away, use our itineraries and onboard Good Book for travel times, operating instructions, places to visit and local tips.

Bring the houseboat back to 57 Caravan Park Road and we’ll take care of the rest.
We’ll check the boat, calculate the fuel you’ve used and process your bond refund, less any applicable fuel, damage or extra cleaning charges.
Then tell us what you thought.
