We’re passionate about the Murray River and the Mildura region, and we genuinely believe this is the best houseboating destination in Australia. Mildura has the widest section of the Murray River, with more established wineries and pubs featuring houseboat-friendly mooring sites than anywhere else along the river.

We have been involved in the tourism industry for over 25 years and during that time have worked within numerous resorts across Australia. After falling in love with the Murray River, the welcoming Mildura locals, and the great all-seasons weather, we decided to settle here — and on the 1st of August 2000, launched a fleet of just two deluxe houseboats.
Today, Mildura Houseboats proudly offers 16 award-winning spa houseboats, making us one of the largest providers of luxury houseboat accommodation in the region.
